eligibilitycompetition is open to all enrolled undergraduate and graduate students and/or young professionals (18 - 35).
- Students are required to provide proof of academic enrollment by student ID.
- Young professionals provide place of employment and photo ID (18 - 35).
- You can not be an officer of the USGBC Student organization, adviser, or a professor.
- Teams: if you form a team, only one entry from each student will be accepted. This means that if you join a team and submit that work, then that is your only submission. You can not submit an individual project. No team should be composed of more than 4 members.

a. Application:
- each student/professional must fill out and submit the form to the address indicated.

- an application fee will be assessed accordingly.

b. Identification:
- each student must provide a student ID for enrollment verification.
- a young professional (21 - 35) must provide a driver's license (photo copy).
- a copy of personal ID (all team members).
- if one of your team members does not meet this requirement then the entire project is disqualified.
c. Submitting:
- these are the submitting requirements. They are NON-NEGOTIABLE.
- failure to follow will DISQUALIFY you IMMEDIATELY.
- provide a title to the project board.
- do not place team member names on the front of board, only the number you were assigned.
- yes, you have to submit physical boards (to our office) and a PDF (by e-mail).
- submit the file in PDF format. No other format will be accepted, NO CONDITIONS APPLIED.
- Size:
+ project board must be 36" x 48"
- this can be two 24" x 36" boards placed side by side.
- boards must be placed in portrait layout (36" for width, 48" for length).
- you must send the boards to us, ready to be assembled, by the due date.
- late submissions will not be accepted, so get it to us on time.
- do not place a hard mat behind the board, only the sheet or it will not be accepted.
- provide a design report; composed of 300 words. Do not exceed that number.
- provide your name (of all team members) on the design report with the assigned
competition number provided to you once we receive the payment.
- no payment, no number, no entry.
- all submissions will not be returned.
- all submissions will belong to the USGBC Student organization. We hold the right to
use projects for featured publications.
